Jen Psaki reports on the postponement of a Senate committee vote on the nomination of Donald Trump’s former criminal defense lawyer, Todd Blanche, to be attorney general. A vote was contingent on Blanche agreeing in writing to drop his pursuit of a settlement with the IRS to fund payouts to January 6 rioters. Trump was apparently not willing to allow Blanche to make that agreement. Senator Adam Schiff joins to discuss.

Three vacations and eight months ago, the Senate passed their one and only Covid-19 pandemic relief bill. After which, Wall Street and Big Banks had their best 2nd quarter EVER in April, May and June 2020 with a nice little "bump" in August. It's entirely likely that members of Congress don't "know" anyone who is being evicted from their homes. They don't "know" anyone who has lost a job, like waitresses or retail sales or food preparation workers in restaurants. How do I KNOW that? Because if Senate Congressmembers DID know some of the millions of working Americans affected by pandemic job losses, THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Fact is, if YOU aren't rich in today's America – YOU DON'T MATTER. I would really like to see Congress members exist on $1,200.00 for eight months. I really would.

Unfortunately in the real world, Warp speed is an example of the US taking 10 months to remain earth's worst example in the pandemic.
On the bright side without a vaccine, Taiwan, New Zealand, Vietnam and China have not had a Covid fatality in over 3 months.

The craziest thing about this pandemic is that the US has learnt nothing after 10 months.
WHO simple 3 point plan: Social distance, wash your hands and wear a mask.
US Covid = 271,026+ Taiwan = 7 (x38,718) New Zealand = 25 (x10,841) China = 4,634 (x58).
Warp speed? 58 times more deaths than China. Trump is to blame but Americans allow it to continue. Idiots!

Meanwhile, cities that have covid enforcement task forces designed to punish those who flout covid restrictions are the very same ones that refused to prosecute those who looted, burned, and assaulted people during numerous riots. Amazing isn't it?

In some states in the east and cities in the west there are Covid task forces designed to catch people breaking the covid restrictions, there are hotlines to report suspicious activity, namely family gatherings of 10 people or more, you are encouraged to turn in your neighbours and family. This is a practice run to see what U.S. citizens will put up with, we are increasingly becoming a police state and Trump had nothing to do with it. CNN, MSNBC, etc. are nothing but political prostitute propaganda outlets for the elites. Meanwhile, the "laws for thee and not for me" attitudes of democrat politicians have made themselves very apparent.
