Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. President Obama needs to immediately set up an Independent Bi-partisan Investigation with subpoena power to find out who knew what and when and the extent of Trump's involvement. I agree, it would be unacceptable to have the investigation conducted by a the House or Senate will bury this. I should think that the Trump team and his supporters would welcome this since to clear the air and remove the taint of illegitimacy that now clouds this election.

It is astonishing that anyone would dismiss espionage by a foreign hostile government and the likely treasonous complicity of Trump and his circle. You need to think critically and not just parrot the propaganda you're being spoon fed by Trump's spin masters. Can you imagine if people said who cares about Watergate – the DNC break in and subsequent cover up- it doesn't matter, we should focus on reading the files that the Watergate thieves were after.
