Money is fungeable. There is no doubt that the humanitarian problems of the Palestinian people should be a real concern, but the fact that the average Palestinian is held hostage within Gaza by evil men who would store caches of rockets underneath school buildings waiting to do what they just did is a problem that must be dealt with in all urgency. The Democratic Party and the Left are sitting back and gloating at the weakness of the GOP. Mistakes have been made. But it will be a big political mistake to think that the moderate and ration heart of America will long tolerate people claiming that terrorism is to be a justifiable outcome of inequality. The Iranian regime is happy to use any aid we give them to attempt to destroy us. This seems lost on many of our Democratic representatives.
