   Someone will come up with an easy to use platform for producers to stream the content without the studios. Technology does not need those executives but the creativity is the part that AI has trouble with. A good producer focused on a few shows with a good writer team and some actors could easily hit without all the top execs taking the cream off the top. Sadly they have been taking the top half or more instead of the top ten percent. It might go back to the days of contract actors as long as they can make a good living. I use to watch over a hundred movies a year before Covid. So far this year I have watch less than five.

   Professional songwriters had to deal with this when Nabster came out. I still make money from Sesac for my songs in major movies but maybe 400 per year
   Not enough to live on.

    OMG — @Stephanie Ruhle – do you have a NATIONAL show or just a NYC/DC cocktail party? MAUI – the iconic town of Lahina JUST BURNT TO THE GROUND, Over 75 (and still rising) AMERICANS DIED – innocent victims of climate change and a flawed system of official communications – residents fleeing into the ocean to save their lives — not all of them lived. Those numbers of dead that are in the 70's were trapped in the flames – others are yet to be found aa the search for bodies cannot begin in the toxic mess that remains. Does anyone at that table have any shame whatsoever? If these people died on Rockaway Beach – as one woman who almost did while the lifeguard who saved her won MVP – can you imagine your panel ignoring them the way they ignored the former national treasure that was Lahaina harbor, and the homes and farms now blackened ash in our 50th State — known worldwide for hundreds of years as paradise on Earth. Shameful that this show can't see a thing past the world of entertainment or otherwise west of Ohio. DO YOU REALLY THINK THERE ARE NO HEROS TO BE FOUND THERE? SHAMEFUL!!

    If the actors/writers were really creative, they'd create a new path for themselves, bystepping the studios. The public would love it. They need to think more creatively than expecting things to go backwards. Opportunity for less discrimination and better acting and more engaging realistic stories with less violence.
