Welcome to Food Network, where learning to cook is as simple as clicking play! Grab your apron and get ready to get cookin’ with some of the best chefs around the world. We’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at our best shows, take you inside our favorite restaurant and be your resource in the kitchen to make sure every meal is a 10/10!

Two-Ingredient Pizza Dough
Level: Easy
Total: 35 min
Active: 35 min
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

2 cups self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
Pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella, for topping

Directions

Put a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet on the center rack of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.

Put the flour and yogurt in a large bowl and mix with a fork until a shaggy dough forms. (The dough may appear dry and crumbly at first, but it will come together as you mix it.) Turn the mixture out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until the dough is smooth and slightly elastic, about 8 minutes, dusting with more flour if necessary. If the dough feels too dry, add water, a tablespoon at a time and continue kneading until it is soft and pliable.

Divide the dough in half, roll into two balls, and then use a rolling pin to roll the balls out into two 10-inch pizza crusts. Dust the back of another inverted baking sheet or pizza peel with more flour, semolina or coarse cornmeal and place a circle of dough on top.

Top the dough round with sauce and shredded cheese as desired, leaving a half-inch bare border around the edge. Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet in the oven.

(Alternatively, roll out the dough on a baking sheet, top as desired and put the sheet in the oven to bake.) Cook until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling, 8 to 10 minutes. Using a large spatula, transfer the pizza to a cutting board and let sit 5 minutes. Repeat with the remaining dough round.

Cook’s Note
When measuring flour, we spoon it into a dry measuring cup and level off excess. (Scooping directly from the bag compacts the flour, resulting in dry baked goods.)

Another thing that you could’ve done: Let the dough sit and rise while covered in a plastic wrap so you can cut it into 4 pieces which is 4 pizzas instead of 2

    "1 ingredient pizza dough"

    Ingredients:
    Frozen pizza dough

I hate these 2-4 ingredient recipes because its always taking some already produced food and just mashing it together.

  26. @Jabrwock

    December 21, 2023 at 7:57 am

Not really two-ingredient… self-rising flour just comes pre-mixed with salt and a raising agent.
"Easy Pizza Dough" would be a better title.

  27. @lmorter7867

    December 21, 2023 at 7:57 am

Not all yogurts are created equal. It depends on the culture that is used to make it. Some are much more sour tasting. One of the brands that I have found to be the least sour is Fage yogurt.

  28. @wdh47211

    December 21, 2023 at 7:57 am

I wonder if Greek yogurt gives the crust a weird taste. GY is horrible. I guess if you put enough sauce and cheese on it you'd be ok.

  29. @mattk1693

    December 21, 2023 at 7:57 am

But what is the substitute if you feel that Greek yogurt is the most disgusting thing ever? Just make normal pizza dough? Haha

Panko-Crusted Salmon
RECIPE COURTESY OF INA GARTEN
Level: Easy
Total: 35 min
Prep: 15 min
Inactive: 10 min
Cook: 10 min
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

2/3 cup panko (Japanese dried bread flakes)
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons good olive oil
Four 6- to 8-ounce salmon fillets, skin on
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix together the panko, parsley, lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Drizzle with the olive oil and stir until the crumbs are evenly coated. Set aside.

Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, on a board. Generously brush the top of the fillets with mustard and then sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Press the panko mixture thickly on top of the mustard on each salmon fillet. The mustard will help the panko adhere.

Heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a 12-inch cast-iron skillet or large heavy, ovenproof pan. When the oil is very hot, add the salmon fillets, skin side down, and sear for 3 to 4 minutes, without turning, to brown the skin.

Transfer the pan to the hot oven for 5 to 7 minutes until the salmon is almost cooked and the panko is browned. Remove from the oven, cover with aluminum foil, and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve the salmon hot or at room temperature with lemon wedges.
