How Irish fishermen forced the Russian Navy into a U-turn

Almost all of Russia’s 83 regions are seeing gasoline shortages or reported disruptions to supply, according to a CNN analysis, with many gas stations imposing rationing as the Russian government races to get ahead of a ferocious campaign of Ukrainian drone attacks targeting its refineries.
The fuel crisis, which escalated first in Russian-controlled Crimea and prompted a state of emergency and a full ban on fuel sales to ordinary people on June 21, is now reaching across Russia’s 11 time zones.
CNN’s Clare Sebastian details the frustration at the pump in Russia, and CNN’s Kristie Lu Stout speaks with the head of Chatham House Ukraine Forum, Orysia Lutsevych, about the possible decay of Russia’s energy superpower status.

Three-time US Olympian David Hearn told CNN that police arrested him Friday after he said he touched a flap of blue material partially detached from the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Hearn, who says he has a background in material science, told CNN he checked it out following a bike ride after reading reports of algae in the water and paint or sealant peeling off the bottom.
Hearn’s attorney Norm Eisen speaks with CNN’s Anderson Cooper about what he calls “a meritless prosecution.” Also, The Atlantic staff writer Matt Viser has details about the type of algae plaguing the Reflecting Pool, and political analysts Scott Jennings and Karen Finney discuss the controversy.

Until Thursday morning, hundreds of thousands of Haitians were legally living and working in the United States, along with thousands of Syrians. Now, their work permits are set to expire and their deportation protections will be terminated, throwing them in legal limbo.

Just few days a go Norwegian fisherman stated they aint going away from their areas of operation, when Russian Navy stated they are going to have firing exercises in Norwegian economic zone. Russian peasants should start understand to stay at their own coast and not bother proper seafarers. Its better for them anyway, considering the abysmal safety record of Russian Navy. Blue water aint for Russians.

They never metion the two astute class British royal navy subs below and in front of the fisherman wow even the Russian captain said it was because the British had sneaked into and under them that freaked the commander. The Russians were back the next month did what they wanted and the Irish never saw them it's scarry how unprotected Ireland is and will be for a few more years unless it tries to join NATO which is not guaranteed

Irish people should understand Irish doesn't have any defense fighter jets nor any submarine or modern frigates. They should be respectful that Russian complied with the request rather than bragging Abt it. UK won't save Irish a$$ when you are a$$ on fire you need to find water on your own. It hurts my heart for Ukrainian civilians,
but I have no sympathy for the
Ukrainian government, puppet of states
United, and having a large share of the responsibility
in this whole affair since they have indeed
waged a war against the Donbass (this war
was it more legitimate than the one led
Putin?), that they tried to destroy the culture
Russian in Ukraine and the attachment of Russian speakers
to this country, and finally that they have never respected the
Minsk agreements, the desire to join NATO
being squarely enshrined in the Constitution. The
war is the worst solution, and I have no
sympathy for the initiative taken by Putin, but
this hypocrisy of the American camp is
unbearable, especially when you know the number of
illegal wars they waged.
