The Wall Street Journal has a new two-part feature detailing what it describes as Europe’s ‘rupture’ with the United States following this week’s NATO Summit in Turkey. The Journal reports that President Trump’s tariff’s and threats to take Greenland has sparked a quote, “rebellion” amongst European leaders who are now drawing limits on so-called “flattery diplomacy.” The paper reports many leaders now view autonomy as the long-term goal,. Rather than a temporary measure, adding that even if leadership changes the era of relying on America so heavily had ended. The reporters behind the story join Morning Joe to discuss the ground-breaking revelations.

The Trump administration issued subpoenas on Friday to several journalists for The New York Times, after the paper reported on security concerns involving President Trump’s new Qatari-donated Air Force One. In some cases, the subpoenas were delivered by federal agents who showed up at reporters’ homes. The subpoenas seek to force the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan on Wednesday, and are an extraordinary escalation in President Trump’s efforts to threaten and intimidate independent news organizations. NYT Investigative reporter Michael Schmidt joins Morning Joe with more on this developing story.

It seems to me from several years of watching this circus evolve that anyone in Trump's 'circle-of-weird' clown show, especially those stupid enough to try and represent him, are just cannon fodder and speed-bumps for the Diaper Don's luxury short-bus, they destroy their careers and reputations (those that may have had some sort of one), and do it for free 'cause Donald J. Trump is notorious for filching on his debts. I think that the only reason no gangsters have ridded the world of him is that he is in billions of dollars in debt with multiple entities, from Russian mobs (hiya Putin the Poisoner) to Arab elite oligarchs, to USA mobs, and dictators (Kim loves me, he is really smert), they all hope that somebody will get something out of the guy but, as we all know, when you squeeze a turd….
It is some sort of poetic justice that a 'billionaire' gets to spend the last days of his life sitting in front of courts instead of golfing and fine dining in the sun, he deserves every second of it imho.

On Sunday, a new poll revealed that more young people are supporting former President Donald Trump than they are President Joe Biden.
According to the NBC poll, 46 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 said they would vote for Trump, compared to a smaller 42 percent for Biden. The poll has former President Trump beating Biden in a hypothetical general election matchup, 46 to 44 percent.
One issue that the President has seen the biggest issue is his handling of foreign policy, where only 33 percent approve of his performance. On Biden's handling of the war between Israel and Hamas, 70 percent of respondents aged 18-34 disapprove of the job Biden has done.
NBC is not the only organization to find that Biden is struggling with young voters in the polls; numerous public surveys have yielded similar conclusions. Other recent high-profile polls from CNN and The New York Times/Siena show the youth vote moving right.

The Willis should cast her bigoted eyes over the evidence against Biden in his RICO case, which earned him and his family millions. If she thinks she has the evidence to ‘ get Trump ‘, she will have her mind exploded by what House investigators have got on China Joe. Totally irrefutable evidence of a catalogue of Federal crimes. You just know that they are going to drop the bomb on Biden and the most in opportune moment for him, and he will subsequently disappear from the election. If Trump truly believes he is innocent and he’s a victim of witch hunt, then why don’t Maga Republicans including his supporters tell him to prove his innocence; to his party and the world to get respect from the allies of America if & when he becomes president.

The prosecution team in the case of Georgia versus Donald Trump and multiple co-defendants has filed an emergency motion for protective order over discovery materials, following leaks of prosecution video interviews. Attorney Fani Willis said that the leaked videos “were not released by the state to any party other than the defendants charged in the indictment pursuant to the discovery process as required by law”. The motion says that the release of the videos is intended to “intimidate witnesses in this case, subjecting them to harassment and threats prior to trial”, and obstructs the administration of justice. The videos were leaked to the Washington Post and include Trump co-defendant attorney Sidney Powell describing a meeting at the White House on December 21, 2020, where she was called every name in the book by former President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani. The leaks also include a video of Trump co-defendant Scott Hall, a bail bondsman, discussing how he chartered a plane to fly to Coffee County, Georgia, where he interfered with voting equipment and data.

Lol The nothing case you have no injured party no plaintive but a radical racist low level prosecutor who is County is actually under investigation for voter fraud over 147,000 ballots that are currently sitting in the exact same building that this trial is being held in oh in the state attorneys recuse them selves from the case last week before they go to prison for fraud, the only fraud election fraud here was betrayed by the people that are trying to Indict Trump and not one of these plea bargains has anybody played guilty to RICO statutes. If it’s a Rico crime, then you would have to plead guilty that to get a deal.

If Trump wins election, I fear a likelihood of stay of the trial in State court like Federal court cases while he’s a sitting President. Horrendous result. She should move for a trial date in June or July because the May trial date will likely be deferred

Well, Fani blew it. She said this week that Trump won't be in trial court until early 2025! If Trump wins, case is dead. Then, in 5-10 years when Don Jr is appointed successor, Presidente DJ will commute all Trump crimes, Federal or State.
