‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling
The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.

Parents are giving up green card fights to get their kids out of immigrant jail: Marshall Project
In 2013, Ana Kikabidze was selected to receive a U.S. green card. When unforeseen circumstances hit she had to move back to her home country. When she came back to the U.S. in May with her children, the family was arrested and sent to the controversial detention center in Dilley, Texas. It is incredible to me that people continue to believe that President Trump committed criminal acts. He has been investigated by several different agencies for the past five years with no results. Should there be misjustice recognized in his actions then he should be tried as any other citizen. Unlike the sham justice travesty that indited him for impeachment in the House where no investigation, no witnesses, no depositions and no legal process existed. Yet, the same people who excoriate President Trump take pride in electing a new President, who is on tape braggingg of his extortion of the Ukrane government to remove their attorney general or they will not receive $1.5 billion in aid from the US. That attorney general wanted to investigate Biden's son Hunter for his business actions in the Ukraine. There is also a lap top computer that Biden left abandoned in a Delaware repair shop that has incriminating evidence of Hunter's relationship with communist China and other possible criminal or maybe treasonous activity. The FBi has had possession of the hard drive for almost two years. Why hasn't this been investigated?? Good question, Biden appointed Hunter's defense attorney's partner as the number two man in the DOJ and previously Biden was able to have the Delaware Attorney General sit idle on the subject. Incidentally, the Delaware AG is only one of two in country that Biden kept in the job with the new administration. I am not surprised if you haven't heard of any of these acts because MSNBC and the rest of the main stream media refuse to air these activities. This in itself is a tragedy of justice. Get over your hate for President Trump. Hate is a wretching illness that will destroy your ability to see things as they truly exist in life. I agree that NO president should be above the law, not selective presidents. If President Trump had criminal involvement he should be prosecuted. Likewise, Biden shoud be investigated for his actions and held accountable as well.
