President Trump launched the U.S. into a new trade war with Canada, imposing 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Trump wants Canada to “negotiate in good faith.” In response, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada was at war with the U.S. and lamented that “America has changed” and promised “dollar for dollar” retaliation. The extended relationship between the defendant at issue and defendant Trump,
and the duration of alleged civil and criminal activities, a multitude of clandestine NDA's, numerous bankruptcies, activity stemming back decades that may have been purposely overlooked as a personal favor or a future position of {delusional} power. Regardless the truth will come out.
