Another judge needs to be assigned to this case, ASAP. She has already done bad things.

"No judge in history (?) has presided over the case of the person who appointed her."

SO FREAKING BLOODY WUT? THIS is the SIMPLE question she has to answer, and the answer is spelled out ahead of time for her. ALL she has to consider is, if she does what he wants her to do, how does that fill ANY role but that of a TOADY?

Let's practice the cuts: Cannon Toady, Toady Cannon, Cannon Toady-Balls…

  20. @ritad.franklin6372

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

President Trump had already been following the protocols given him regarding Records he had authority to take home as a former President. He didn't pack his own boxes, someone else did and they followed given protocols. No Indictment is needed for a person who followed all given protocols. He used his Presidential authority just as all other Presidents prior to him have done.

Yes it is it always been that. I heard Biden say it i will do what ever it takes to keep him from being president again. Biden said that him self. So no its not a lie.

Trump has the Supreme Court in his pocket too. He'll never see the inside of a jail cell.

  29. @kjamison5951

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Judge Cannon is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. If she sentences tr*mp to incarceration, the gun-toting tr*mpists will target her. If she accepts the indictments and still releases him, the gun-toting anti-tr*mpists will target her.

God forbid she lets him go and he is re-elected. That’s a guarantee for SCOTUS for her.

  30. @vudu8ball

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Hey if Trump will be incarcerated while he waits to go on trial give him the continuance by all means.

  31. @vudu8ball

  32. @ronnelson930

If federal society whispers in Cannon's ear that Trump still their man,she will do exactly what she told to help Trump out

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Lawrence always stands for human decency. Her personifies it.

  34. @gregrice1354

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Thanks Mr. Lawrence. Isn't this federal judge just showing the failed, fraud, 45th president that she will support him, even if it risks her appointment and judgeship? Her "delay"/denial of self recusal from adjudicating the former president who appointed her is clear violation of the explicit ethics role placing the condition of "even the appearance of conflicting interests" is basis for mandatory recusal.

I can only guess that the supervisory court that already chastised her is thinking that "well, his conviction under her will tell history

  35. @sonjawashington573

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Judge Cannon hasn't recused herself, because she is corrupt, and still working for Trump, and will try to get him acquitted, even if it means ending her own career, because she is all-in with the MAGA cult of Trump!

  36. @mikecobalt7005

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Why in the world is such a large case being presided over by not only an inexperienced judge, but one that has already tried to wreck the case?? This is just as surreal as watching the Jan6 and the day after with those people, the politicians and trump himself walking around free. This Really reminds me of that Airplane/Mask BS. The Republicans find a new dedicated (Federalist) judge (Mizelle) to change an event knowing it will likely destroy that judges career but they get what they want using an impressionable tool.

  37. @twinstarr2013

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Time to rid this trump dude

  38. @petercharron3268

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Judge Cannon is our only hope many MAGA Americans might find a conviction acceptable. If she is replaced it will just feed the MAGA unfairness beliefs. Leave her there. If she gives Trump a pass, we win. If she oversees a conviction, we win.😮

  39. @markgentry6688

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Anyone associated with a republican is involved with a lier, a pathological lier.

  40. @stitchintime5481

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

This nation is at a crossroads. It all depends upon right and wrong. Nothing to do with an individual's status. If the people are held accountable, an elected official should be held to those standards. None of us wants a Banana Republic. Too many young people fought and died for this nation. Honoring them means everyone elected should be held accountable.

  41. @stitchintime5481

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Why is it so different today than in the Nixon years that the Republicans are so thin-skinned they will not make the right decision and tell Trump, 'You need to go, for the sake of the Nation?'' Could be also that POTUS Nixon loved this nation that much and realized he was guilty of making a huge mistake in ordering the break-in of the Democratic Party.

  42. @stitchintime5481

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Could be judge Quinlan lacks a spine. Or, she wants to prove herself once again.

  43. @singlelifeok

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

No they aren't reasonable request at all. You're supposed to be a reported. They have what they needed in time and chose to ignore it until they had no choice to deal with it. Stop being a lazy reporter.

  44. @d.e.b.b5788

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

I hope to live long enough, to see history books showing pictures of Aileen Cannon as the corrupt judge in all these matters. She should go down in history as the most corrupt judge in American history (unless you know of a more corrupt one!). An apt thing to be infamous for.

  45. @jameshutchins6077

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Judge Canon are you Trumps lap kitty or an independent judiciary? I seriously question your independence … if you wish to rescue your judicial career, recuse yourself!

  46. @patriciabrown6664

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

How meny lies has Biden lie to us why isn't he in courts? Why is one man charge and another gets away with the same crimes? Why don't you tell the truth?

  47. @ItsPouring

    December 26, 2023 at 4:12 am

Maybe Biden and Co. should also sue for defamation – that is, unless his judge doesn't inoculate him from such litigation by legitimizing his claims.

  48. @keeperofthelists4771
