Congresswoman and impeachment manager Madeleine Dean (D-PA) tells Andrea Mitchell that President Trump “lit the match,” causing the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Dean also pushed back on the notion that impeaching a former president is unconstitutional. “And we do know, number one, it is constitutional because the text of the constitution is not just about removal as a result of impeachment and conviction but also future disqualification. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

Of Course, America is a house that has not had the sheets changed in 4 years. That may be good enough for Donald who is only intent on escaping accountability, but it's not good enough for a leader of the world community like America. Now, through failure to deal with problems as they arose, we have an impressive set of hurtles to overcome. However, together, we will overcome each problem. Skills are skills. Once you have learned those leadership skills, like Biden, you can tackle any problem. The only question that remains is why did McConnell and the Republican Senators leave our country and our countrymen at mortal risk for so long? Politicians would do well to remember, through the coming difficulties, that Americans are choosing their country over any political party. Any outright effort to destroy our country or any segment of our population will not survive.
