The Wall Street Journal has a new two-part feature detailing what it describes as Europe’s ‘rupture’ with the United States following this week’s NATO Summit in Turkey. The Journal reports that President Trump’s tariff’s and threats to take Greenland has sparked a quote, “rebellion” amongst European leaders who are now drawing limits on so-called “flattery diplomacy.” The paper reports many leaders now view autonomy as the long-term goal,. Rather than a temporary measure, adding that even if leadership changes the era of relying on America so heavily had ended. The Republican Party abandoned reasonable party ideals long ago and replaced them with a single political one— opposition to Democrats whenever possible, thus positioning themselves squarely against our Constitution in word and spirit, even to the extent that today they rationalize morphing their party into nothing less than a criminal syndicate, hostile to any law they don't want to abide by. Little wonder that they would support Trump even more AFTER his attempted overthrow of the U.S. government and continue to ignore his many other crimes, as well.
