Oversize ice-cream prints and sugary landscapes adorn Peruvian circle skirts and drop-waisted ancient Chinese workers’ trousers, worn over lurex thermals and long-johns. Knife pleats come in floor length gypsy skirts and layered print dresses. A sporty youthfulness runs throughout the collection — specially created signature sneakers flash with each step thanks to built in LED lights, hooded puffa capes are printed in waterproof techno fabric, and sporty nylon backpacks double as babies slung on the back or swaddled in front. Miniature hot water bottles and hip flasks keep our nomadic wanderers warm on their travels.

Models wore light blue and pink plaid dresses with lace embellishments paired with motorcycle boots and large silver hoop earrings, necklaces and bracelets. The look could be described as a prairie girl meets city girl. One unique piece that hit the runway was a long peasant skirt that was shown in three different looks.Towards the end of the show models showcased silky long dresses in black and white as well as black dresses with pink and black lace embellishments.

http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – FashionTV goes backstage to the Liu Fang Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, where it is Chinese designer, Liu Fang’s first debut on the Parisian runway! Behind the scenes, models are sitting through intense hair and makeup as they get their sleek volumized updos perfected, get splashed with white powdered makeup and thick long white eyelashes. White is all you see backstage as the models are dressed in white knit woven leggings, neutral colored cashmere sweaters, futuristic cut outs and sky high white wedges. Model Kiki tells FashionTV what we will be expecting and her looks on the catwalk. “I think it is very Lady Gaga style, I love it, it’s very chic and I love the makeup”!”, she says. Everything about Fang’s collection was soft and sci-fi, all for the love of contemporary cashmere.
