It is none of the cop's business if you have a gun or not. And the guy towards the end of the video saying African Americans feel uncomfortable with lights behind them. It's not just Blacks it's everybody because cops have earned themselves a bad reputation.

We should have a highway authority that doesn't carry firearms that only has jurisdiction over traffic related offenses. That way if a bad guy gets pulled over with drugs in the car or something, he's not gonna shoot the cop knowing he's only going to get a speeding ticket and not get his car searched.
Police are often telling the truth that they were following protocol after police shootings. The protocol is flawed. If a person walking up the street towards me suddenly reaches into their pockets, I am not within my rights to shoot them because they could have been reaching for a gun. They could have been scratching their nuts. As long as cops are considered justified in using lethal force when faced with the endless possibility of what could be a weapon, innocent people will continue to be killed in traffic stops.

If I am pulled over for speeding what does my lawful firearm have to do with a traffic stop? They made contact with me, not the other way around. It only escalates if you tell them.

Always keep hands on the wheel with the interior light on. Its a pita yet it makes the officer feel better. Announce any large weapons idk pocketknives count. If asked for id explain if you have to get out of glovebox or wallet. The officer has to feel safe so they don't shoot.

The state has Constitutional Concealed carry laws (as it should be). It's nobody's business if you are carrying or not. If you get stopped it is in effect "Don't ask don't tell" by the officers!
That Castille guy told the officer he had a permit and was carrying, and the officer shot his ass! If he had not mentioned the gun and never tried to pull it or put his hands in his pockets he would be alive today.

The guns should be banned to kept in the car and anywhere! only that you have the right to keep them in the house in the event that thieves attempt to rob a house or hurt a family, that you can defend yourself … outside the house, there is no guns! It would be not a road rage shooting and any other public killing!

I kind of stand beside the cop. If he tells you he has a firearm and he reaches for something you do get a little suspicious. Yes, he did something stupid but he was justified. If you are a cop you got to pull the gun before they do. That aside, he did mess up, and he was scared it seemed.

Police should settle down and their training should include the fact that we have the right to bear arms the same as they do. It doesn't mean anyone else with a gun other than them is 'A Bad Guy', plenty of good guys carry guns as well; (thank goodness). They are the ones pulling people over, so just settle down, assume everyone has a gun, and be careful; and be polite. Even if someone was speeding, it doesn't mean he's a criminal threatening to pull his weapon on the law.

When you have a CCP. Law enforcement already knows you have a permit when they run your tags! So they know you have a gun when they approach your car. The first time I got pulled over when I had my CCP. I told the cop on the way up to my truck. Hey I have a gun in here! And he said I know. It already showed up on your check! He also said thanks for telling me. Then just gave me a warning for what he stopped me for! This is in a small town in Ohio. Don't know if it would go that smooth in a big city!
