Ok, Biden fund raisers, hear me! Biden standing pale-faced and pleading for contributions with his throat full of mucus is a turn-off. Even for supporters like me. For God's sake get him to clear his throat before talking and put on a little rouge!

i downgraded cable service to cold turkey from my cable news watching and have no regrets – i miss willie geist, andrea mitchell, ari melber and lawrence odonnell, but the repetitive nature in show after show is not missed.

  30. @efwrenn

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

Hailey answered the question as though she didn't actually know the answer was slavery. I remember answering questions in the same way when I was in high school history class and I didn't know the answer. She was caught off guard by the simplicity of the question, and probably forgot…..lol. Too bad she couldn't be honest.

  31. @mikeseymour1792

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

We should simply publish the confederate states articals of succession. They all clearly state slavery as the single reason for their separation.

  34. @sheliamaxwell2569

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

Why would she try to put the onius of her answer on the person that asked the question? Is she a puppet, oh yeah, she is because she was pandering to the base of her political party? After my hearing an interview with Trevor Noah, and his response to a question about democracy, I had a clear understanding why people fall prey to people like Trump. His response gave me a clear understanding why some people don't exercise their right to vote; however, thankfully, that won't be the case with me, despite my being totally disgusted with many of today's politicians on both sides of the aisle. Although, if prizes were being given, Republicans, would win in an overwhelming landslide.

Haley says the Civil War was about freedom by the government. That the government was not to be up your butt. But she agrees that women should die to bring forth a dead or unviable pregnancy. The government shouldn't be in my bedroom, my doctors office, and In my bathroom. Bounties on pregnant women in TX. The Republican party will run amuk if elected to any office. These people are seditious

  37. @discoriented6235

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

If only the Confederate states wrote down their reasons for secession. Oh wait, they did.
People, just read them. They didn't mince words…it was about slavery.

  38. @hawkhm97

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

Nikki Haley talk about freedoms and you don't need to have the government in your life what about abortion. That gets in into people's freedoms to do the things they need

  39. @AntonMontano

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

She answered the question as if the Civil War was about socialism 🤦‍♂️

  41. @mxkguitar

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

The Republicans can't afford to alienate the white supremacist voter. Its a large part of their base. In other words, if they lose them they dont have a chance at election in these backward states.

  42. @green856w

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

She talks about freedom of choice yet it's her party preventing women to make their own choices in relation to abortion.

  43. @wildoutrudeboy

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

    What about Abortion freedom.

  44. @sbrady1790

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

If it was about just states' rights, it wouldn't have been a war.
If it was about the ability to own and traffic human beings, then yeah, there would be a war

  45. @MrCsifan55

    December 29, 2023 at 7:33 pm

If a potential leader does not know the history of the country they want to lead they are not worthy to lead it into the future, else they are doomed to repeat those failures.
To Republicans… isn't she a Sheik (non Christian)?

Sen. Murphy: Proposed Relief Bill ‘Could Get Us Through What Could Be A Very Hard And Deadly Winter’

Published

on

By

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling

Published

on

By

The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.
