‘Demanding a detailed briefing’: Dems call for investigations into Ukrainian Starlink restrictions
President Trump is facing backlash not just from Democrats, but from some Republicans following his decision to waive congressionally approved sanctions and tariffs against Russia. The White House is also denying that they limited Ukraine’s military operations after their Starlink networks were disrupted this week. Texas Republican Senator John Cornyn called for an investigation into “Trump’s aid and comfort to Putin”. President Zelenskyy also offered his thoughts on the sanctions, noting that lifting them was quote: “wrong” and “only helps the Russians”. Virginia Democratic Rep. James Walkinshaw joins The Weekend to discuss.

RE Woodward and responsibilities – we will see in time how much damage the overall book does to Trump, you can't just speculate that Woodward would have the same impact with a recording in March, likely Trump would argue that down to nothing and create a distraction or lie about progress with medications and vaccines to make a false sense of relative calm
There is an administration ending level scandal every 6 weeks or so with this guy and the prime skill he has and learnt from his dad is burying scandal with diversions.
The timing of Woodward's book near the election and WITH audio makes it hard for Trump to bury all its revelations or have time to recover in the polls.
I think it will ultimately do a lot more for America than an audio leak would have done In March because Trump would have then cancelled all subsequent interviews with woodward
