Until Thursday morning, hundreds of thousands of Haitians were legally living and working in the United States, along with thousands of Syrians. Now, their work permits are set to expire and their deportation protections will be terminated, throwing them in legal limbo.
The abrupt change in fate stems from the Supreme Court decision which found that the Department of Homeland Security had broad discretion in determining when to extend or terminate a form of humanitarian relief known as Temporary Protected Status.

Emergency responders took Sen. Mitch McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to new video of the incident and an eyewitness account.
A neighbor of McConnell told CNN that they opened their door to find commotion outside their home at around 8:30 a.m. on June 14, with two ambulances, a fire truck and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street.
The neighbor said they learned from another eyewitness who saw the individual’s face that the person on the stretcher was McConnell and he was not wearing an oxygen mask.
CNN’s Annie Grayer has the details, and emergency physician Dr. Megan Ranney describes what struck her about the newly released video. Also, CNN’s Audie Cornish looks at GOP lawmakers’ reactions to Sen. McConnell’s medical situation.

Why do these media idiots report the casualty numbers as “troops” i.e. “tens of thousands of troops..” Were tens of thousands of people killed or tens of thousands of actual “troops” killed. How many soldiers were in these troops. Does every single soldier within that troop need to be killed to consider the troop as killed or a majority of them? I would think that good language and vocabulary skills would be a job requirement for media professionals.

Biden administration has continued to spend lavishly, with the president allocating more than $54 billion since February for military and economic aid to Ukraine and passing a $739 billion climate, healthcare, and tax reform bill earlier this month. While the bill is named the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’, the Congressional Budget Office has noted that it will saddle middle-class Americans with around $20 billion in additional taxes over the coming decade, whilst having a “negligible” impact on inflation.

Ukraine is winning on Twitter and Russia is winning boots on the ground, Ukraine does not have the people nor the equipment to even come close to out attrition Russia. It is a combination of WW1 and WW2, Russia will just keep shelling Ukraine into oblivion and take their time, while Ukraine is worn down, the Donbass has already been taken, and the Kherson "counter offensives" haven't really happened as massive blunder.
The west can send like 6 more HIMARS, but its not like Russia will magically lose when they have like nearly ten or fifty times that amount to counter it.
There has been chances for peace for 8 years now, the US and NATO did not allow it and Russia was uncompromising with its demands of Ukrainian neutrality
