   The stress that these brilliant artistic people are put under, drives them to it, how can anyone expect a single human being to take all that. Yet so ignorant young people now just want to be famous. It takes a lot out of them. I worry in a ward with people with disorders like this, and my heart goes out to her. As far as the comment below, its smug to assume just because she has money its easier. It actually isn’t. Some of our most affected patients are the wealthiest. It doesn’t discriminate so be kind and don’t judge. We support you Selena, you are doing great ❤

   As someone else who is Bipolar, I appreciate her courage to normalize it and to show that people who are Bipolar are normal people as well, we are not crazy like the media likes to portray us to be.

    Imagine having lupus AND bipolar and not barely being able to hold a job. Just being alone. She has a career and money to support herself. Most of us are near/experiencing homelessness. I find it hard to empathize with someone whom doesn't need to worry about her next meal, roof over her head. 😢

    "Bipolar" is a label made up by the Amer Psych Ass'n and their business buddies, the drug companies, for the purpose of selling goods (patented, expensive) drugs and services (talk therapy).Their goal is not to cure anyone but to only "manage" the patient's symptoms until the patient dies because that's where the highest profits are to be found. The symptoms of "bipolar" are real, just not the so-called "diagnosis." If you want to cure an illness, you need to know what's causing it, something psychiatrists are not able to do. Why not? Because they were trained in medical schools supported by tens of millions of dollars from drug companies. No drug company CEO is going to donate such large amounts of money to a school so it could teach students to NOT prescribe the CEO's drugs. There's no money in looking for or, heaven forbid, curing the physical causes of mental illness because when people are cured, they're LOST —as customers of psychiatric goods and services. It's simple capitalism. When my family member was supposedly "bipolar," I learned how to restore his mental health with the un-patentable orthomolecular approach. His histamine level was simply too high. That's a physical problem that can easily be corrected with the right, un-patentable "nutraceuticals." Some people have a histamine level that's too low, combined with an elevated level of copper. And there are other, proven PHYSICAL causes that can be cured. I've been researching the proven CAUSES/CURES of mental illnesses since 1996 —and now I know of a second treatment that truly cures the cause of so-called "bipolar." – Linda from YT, "Linda Van Zandt's Mental Health Recovery Channel." + more info on tribel.com.

    Bipolar is a very simple cure. The person with bipolar has their mind set upon their way of life which is a life absent of the mind and thoughts of God. It’s life absent of God. Once the individual is reunited with God through Jesus Christ then the individual begins seeing life through the eyes and mind of God. And when this happens then the person is set free from bipolarism. Truth will set you free. True.

    I've tried the sticky note thing. My sticky notes usually say "stop talking", "don't over share", or "hide your emotions". It's a struggle to fit in. I'm almost 50 and haven't figured out how to live with my bipolar diagnosis. I don't understand how other bipolar people (Selena) seem to be functioning. I used to be an actress (college days) but bipolar 2 is a dream killer.
