‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling
The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.

Parents are giving up green card fights to get their kids out of immigrant jail: Marshall Project
In 2013, Ana Kikabidze was selected to receive a U.S. green card. When unforeseen circumstances hit she had to move back to her home country. When she came back to the U.S. in May with her children, the family was arrested and sent to the controversial detention center in Dilley, Texas. I got married a long time ago to a young man who had just finished his basic training in the US Army. Two weeks after our wedding my husband was sent to Viet Nam where he went and served his country proudly like a lot of other young men did at that time. Right around that same time Donald J Trump was seeing and paying a doctor to say he had 'bone spurs' so that he could get out of serving his country. He never had bone spurs, it was a lie, but he got just what he wanted (as usual, because that's what narcissists do) so needless to say Trump didn't have to go in the service! It's a true documented story. Trump is a coward of major proportions and has shown it in many ways, this just being one of them. This information has been verified and is true! Anyone who believes the BS that Trump is a patriot needs to wake up!
