Sir, no he didn’t, you just confirmed Obama was first to use the term. Soooo, your saying “fake news” is true only when Obama is using the term and it’s not being used as some protective defense. Absolutely hysterical!!

Trump’s endorsement of Putin Meddling in his panties is probably “Fake -News” as well but the glisten in his eyes and the strange expressions of his face might give reason to question this motion….

You better tell Jeff Flake this, even Flake believes the term is Trumps. I think it’s refreshing your nation has a President who isn’t cocaine dependent.

Fake news was a thing WAY before the media called it! We all laughed at you for stealing it from us….. You people are not in touch with real America. We the citizens, were warning each other before the candidates had even won their primaries. WAY before. Did Trump coin it?. As an after effect he did. He made it a worldwide " thing", just as bell bottoms had No creator. Others snatched it up. They didn't come up with it, they simply had the power to magnify and turn a profit on it. Yes Trump can claim "fake news"

The term "fake news" was originally coined to describe the practise of artificially inflating click-though's on blogging platforms, where the site's owner gets paid for every page loaded which carries adverts. It's been a well known way to game, for example, Google Ad-Sense for years. We know that Trump seems to believe the term 'Fake News' in-fact refers to actual news which just so happens to report verbatim what for some reason he says out-loud on a daily basis, but the real story here is the advertising platforms like Facebook, Google and Twitter who point-blank refuse to include adequate measures in their reporting system which legitimate users have been asking them to include for years. This isn't a new problem.

We also know that a major reason for their reluctance to act, is that as things currently stand the laws which would ordinarily apply in publishing don't apply to social media sites, despite that they are to all intents and purposes in the publishing business, and are growing larger in that space year on year in terms of the number of people who use social media for news aggregation. So, what we really need to see in the mainstream press, is a much deeper exposé of the areas around legal liability, which go some way to explain why the big players in social media resist so vehemently calls for them to be held to the same standards as newspapers, radio and television companies, who police the comments section of their websites, to proactively monitor and where necessary remove user generated content which incites racism, xenophobia and hate-speech. This needs to be extended to users who also post fake news on social media — that is to say, links to content which deliberately seek to spread misinformation by soliciting clicks with salacious headlines, and flat-out made-up nonsense, simply so that the owners of the landing site can scam the legitimate ad-revenue sharing system.

Trump is a fake president. Whether or not the election was hacked, Trump is fake. If it was hacked. Obviously fake. If no hack then I can guarantee Trump got elected on Americans who didn't bother to vote thinking he would never win. Either way, Trump's presidency will go down as a lesson learned for Americans on what happens when we don't get involved in our own government politics and think someone else will deal with it and that we don't have anything to worry about because what could go wrong? Well now you see what can go wrong… Trump.

She notes that the result is an almost complete loss of U.S. allies around the world, and that only three states have a net-positive opinion of him.
