If Democrats fought to codify Roe, it would be a non-issue, and Democrats wouldn't have anything to run on. That's why they let this go this far! Because they have nothing. He considered himself as a special person… over and above the law!! It is time that Trump is sent to prison and locked for the rest of his life!     Finally, a media outlet gets it. We are going through this regression today because we did not hold them accountable then. After the civil war, we let the traitors to America, the Confederacy go back to their lives without consequences. We let them write school books that lied, we let them run states and continue to oppress black people. They have never faced any serious consequences so we find ourselves in the same spot today. Until we as a nation hold them, the traitorous confederacy accountable we will only continue to regress. And according to the Judicial statutes Article III. Judicial Department "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." anyone supporting the confederacy is a traitor and should be arrested

    Paraphrasing Cheney's words to Republicans, I would say to the Dems in Congress (both houses) that you can either be loyal to your corporate masters or you can be loyal to the voters. You can't be both. You want to put the onus on us to get you re-elected when your spinelessness and lack of action allowed this to happen. It is the corporations that want to keep the filibuster because it stops Congress from passing laws that would be detrimental to their profits. You are representatives of the people, not prostitutes serving corporate interests. Remember your oath!! You also are responsible for this mess. Clean it up. Pull your heads out of your wallets and do the job we sent you to do.

    So, what you are telling us is that the Secret Service has been compromised. How interesting and how typical of these agencies. When I was a young child I thought that the Secret Service was a bright shining example of the best of the best. Later in life I felt that way about the top military brass and then later, the Supreme Court. How naive I was. They are all just positions filled by people and in many cases (Mike Flinn comes to mind, Oliver North comes to mind, Clarence Thomas comes to mind) by people who are flawed and in many cases, horrendously flawed. They deserve no special considerations.

    I don't have confidence in PURGERERS as a general rule. I also think it's going to take more than a speech from Grandpa to right this wrong. Especially since he was the senator grilling Anita Hill instead of Clarence Thomas.
