Former Trump Senior Economic adviser Stephen Moore is on Bloomberg This Weekend and says inflation remains too high for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, breaking with President Donald Trump’s repeated calls for lower borrowing costs and arguing the central bank should hold rates steady for now. Moore also warned hosts Christina Ruffini and Bailey Lipschultz that elevated oil prices and the escalating US Canada trade fight pose risks to the economy and Republicans heading into the midterm elections.

Closing markets means you don't know when things have started to get better. That is, when the market begins to think that the steps being taken have a good likelihood of working.

This is a FINANCIAL crisis tripped by the Virus not the other way around. 13 years long overvalued market cycle. WW debt from Chinese buy up of worlds properties and locals paying 4 x real value (eg Aust) and many other places you wouldnt think would have any housing boom!!! Trump did a good job but he came at the end of the cycle and crash next which he can only hold off. that how things work on this planet and our system. Once the crash takes ove, nothing can stop it and all this fake printing ends up devaluing it all and that also has to be absorbed and paid back making it even worse. You think pushing a button and giving wall street banks 1 trillion has a opposite value entry in the book? Its all artificial and slowly the dimmer traders are waking up to all this and each package offered is being rejected and the sell of gets worse. Now we have shut down businesses everywhere trying to contain this virus and all that will do is save live YES, but destroy a lot more people in the process with defaults and jobs losses ect ect.
This one will/is bad and wont be ending anytime soon..

They didnt close the markets when it rose so quickly. Close it when it falls quickly? I say "Let it drop". The law of free market says it will find its true level on its own.
