I made it 3 minutes into this and all I saw were paid shills pushing stocks. There is a huge disconnect between the street, and the penthouse. Looking at this from the street, the job report is fake as it can get. Big load of steaming crap. Axing 1 job paying $120,000 and replacing it with 5 jobs in fast food making less than $30,000 is not the same and that is exactly what has happened. Companies post jobs, but they do not hire even if the person is qualified. These companies will eventually die because of the current HR model of having politically correct overseers that don't know and can't spot the talent needed to fill a job.

So many dynamics and layers to the effects on markets which is why the whole thing is fascinating.

I think some segments do well and will whilst others not so and that to me is a traders environment insofar as what is occurring at present.

Based on a fairly short term perspective i would think staying liquid is basically the most sensible thing.

But it changes and that is why it is fascinating.

Are you reporters just brain dead or shills for the COMMUNISTS? Debris field? Ever see a car accident in the middle of the wilderness? The great advantage of balloon surveillance is they are able to get close to the target.

to my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough. I've been quite unsure about investing.. in this current market and at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started on the market, what are your thoughts?

  11. @lazybearish

    January 13, 2024 at 2:39 pm

70% + is the impact of consumer spending on U.S. GDP. Consumers spend more when they have more money. Money from higher wages is more financially sound than money from credit, for both the national economy and individual households. How is it, then, that a steady stream of analysts and financial advisors keep expressing the “hope” that wage growth will decelerate in the battle to bring inflation down? Many even believe that the destruction of wage grown IS the key in the FED’s inflation fight. But if workers get less money, they will either spend less or resort to other forms of “money” procurement, namely credit. But expansion of credit is still expansion of the money supply, which is the definition of “inflation.”it would seem that the gurus want the consumer making less yet spending more, maxed out on credit. Heaven forbid they should get the notion to save money.

    LABORS OF LIFE 2023 !

    Our workers are our saviors

    The redeemers of every race.

From those who built the pyramids

To the rockets for outer space.

With our fingers weary and worn

And our eyelids heavy and red

We feel we've earned God's blessings

As we lay down our sleepy head.

After death there’ll be lots of rest

Though the living must suffer toil

For everything that man must have

Comes from the air, the sea and soil.

"Yes" labor is part of life on Earth

For without it we make no gains.

By work we receive life's rewards

As fortunes are made by our pains.

Worrying about crime, taxes and terrorism

Infectious disease and paying next month’s bills.

Saving for college and our own retirement

It's no wonder we drink, pray, smoke and pop pills.

It’s trash that you cut that reporter off and didn’t even let her have a closing statement about your question just to make a joke. Obviously this is my opinion but as a senior like yourself, it makes you look foolish. I literally have no interest in any of the trash that comes out of your mouth anymore. Good job.
