Please American newsreaders, please stop saying across the globe when referring to the heat wave. I’m in the Southern Hemisphere and we are freezing. This has been the coldest winter in the Australia for many years.
America and Britain are not the entire world. Plus the northern and Southern Hemispheres have opposite weather, mid year is winter in the SH.

My country (Australia) – Average yearly temperature higher than the previous year for SIXTEEN YEARS STRAIGHT! Significant, worst ever, longest ever droughts! Worst ever Bushfires EVER, last year – whole towns burnt to the ground, not to mention the terrible loss of animal life! This year – worst ever EVER rainfalls (annual rainfalls in total falling 2-3 times in as many months) – Floods in areas not ever having flooded before, some areas flooding FOUR fckn times in 5 months! Yeah right, no such thing as climate change!

That kind of makes it sound like the agents were first given the opportunity to delete the texts and then through the migration all traces of the texts were wiped clean, which would kind of make it sound like they really knew what they were doing.

If the secret service 'lost' data, they are bound by their training, position, and oath to preserve records for a specified amount of time. If not, cite them for non-performance of their jobs.

I’ve been involved in system upgrades and the old system and the new are usually run in parallel for a period of time to insure the new system is operational and that all data is safe and secure.
