No te dejas enganar. *************************************

A rationalist viewpoint on this matter. I am a moderate independent voter who voted for Trump, as well as a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant (1972-1993). The normalization of relations between Cuba and America is long overdue, and is one of the very few policies from Obama that I found myself completely agreeing with. After all we are good friends now with Vietnam, who we fought a long war with and lost, to include the loss of over 58,000 American lives. If we can have normal relations with Vietnam, why not with Cuba who is only about 90 miles away? The Castro's and their Stalinist legacy are quickly fading away and normal relations between Cuba and the U.S. could have a very decisive effect on the future direction of the Cuban political leadership. On a side note I would remind folks that a good many of those Cubans who settled in Florida in the 50s and 60s were major supporters and beneficiaries of the highly corrupt Dictator Batista regime that was ousted by the Cuban revolution. For more on Batista, who came to power by a 1933 coup himself and had extensive Mafia ties, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulgencio_Batista?

When are you going to stop lying CNN? Obama stopped the wet foot, dry foot policy, dating back to 1966 one week before he left office he detained and deported 91 Cubans 2 days before Trump became President? Cubans supported Trump by 2 to 1 ratio and many Cubans believe Obama did this as revenge for the Trump support. This cherry picking of facts doesn't really work anymore!
