Respect for all men and women who serve in the military should not be blind respect. Service to their own large egos, and the resulting fall from grace, seems to be the common denominator in McChrystal, Westmoreland, and MacArthur. Their stories are the same. It’s hard not to think of Brad Pitt in War Machine. These are the kinds of men that become military dictators in other parts of the world, when given the chance.

I aweved 29 years in the U.S. Army. I respect Gen. McChrystal, but sorry sir, going to have to throw the BS Flag here. Obama/Biden brought you to the end of your career. How can you endorse a corrupt politician who has 47 yr track record who can't even keep his story straight on what he has done-which is absolutely nothing. Now everyone who supports Biden is mainly voting for him because the have a disdain for Trump. Have people un my own family who are like that and when confronted cannot even back up why they are voting for Biden except saying Trump is a crook. I am disgusted to hear people saying Trum lied people died. That is so much BS. What about Dr. FAUCI and him saying at the beginning that this administration (Trump's)will face a pandemic?? HTF did he know that? Oh but all Democrats blame trump. I love it love it love it how Democrats say trump is a racist. Do your homework, There is more pictures and events where trump was in photo ops with P ditty, oprah, and even al Sharpton before he was president. Trump has deliberately flouted science, social distancing and made a mockery of masks, refusing to wear a mask in situations where it was deemed necessary by hospital authorities and medical consultants.
During the onset of COVID-19 Trump repeatedly lied to the American people about the severity of the virus, repeatedly thumbing his nose in the face of science with ridiculous pseudoscience claims that could potentially endanger others, over 200,000 American citizens are now dead with the numbers climbing due to his inaction.
Statistics were not on Trumps side as he openly encouraged people to attend rallies without social distancing and other protective measures in place. He's now tested positive with the all too real possibility that prior to diagnosis, of having spread the virus to countless others through his selfishness and willful ignorance of scientific evidence.
Trump has brought this upon himself and he only has himself to blame due to his own arrogance and hubris. It's not the past lies that is the issue, but the fact is; in the future everything Trump states will be suspect and questioned just like the words of Conley, his supposed "Doctor", there is nothing transparent about that administration, the trust has been diminished.
Is this what we deserve as American Citizens?

The key statement here is that disagreement is healthy in a democracy. What we have now is not an agreement to disagree in the White House. We have a group of people that have all subsumed their own individual opinions to move in lockstep with the president. That is not democracy.

I haven't seen or heard of any one general, admiral, or significant military leader speak well of Trump. That should say it all.
