She is being wise on economy but I am disappointed at her failure to tackle illegal immigrations. Also, she shouldn’t exit China belt and road just to please US. The does what’s its own interest and so should Italy.

I don't understand why some commenters don't spend 1 minute to check the bullshit they say. Prime Minister Meloni is a right-wing conservative and not an "extreme right", in the USA they would call her a Republican. She is a woman who has been in politics for 30 years (she was 16 when she started). She was the youngest minister in a Berlusconi government from which she left because she founded her own party, bringing it from 4 to 29/30% (latest data). Although the media around the world continue to talk nonsense, he is proving to be a much more respected premier than others, in Europe and in the world. She is a woman who studies a lot and wants to be prepared for everything. He speaks fluently with all his interlocutors, unlike his predecessors (except Draghi) who didn't even know English, so he has direct contact with his colleagues. In Italy all the indicators are positive and it doesn't seem to me that the locusts have arrived as some left-wing press wanted.

Calling Meloni "far right" is just asinine propaganda and undermines Bloomberg's credibility as a news outlet. Shame on this host for spewing that. It shows a complete lack of ethics.

1:33. There’s a level of mental illness involved when discussing her accomplishments on the economic front, the correspondent reverts to “anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ right.” What does sexuality have to do with economics? Just sick.

Italy needs to be careful, that it doesn't fall to far into a Fascism far-right ideology, look at what happened to Italy under Benito Mussolini this could plunge most of Europe into darkness again. Has history not taught us anything from the devastation and destruction in WWII.

Moderate position?, when would he have had a non-moderate position if she is in government for the first time ?
let's say the sentences more sincerely, the markets cry when things don't go as they say and they call populism anything that doesn't benefit them. It's not the global economy that interests them, it's simply the money that some giant private accumulate, has a name all this, it is called capitalism.
Ah right you can't say… ok rewind…the extreme fascist Meloni seems moderate and therefore bla bla bla…

So Meloni is the female version of Xi Jingping. Atleast Italy realised about the advantage of a state-led growth like what China's doing in which many economists criticise before.
