    Hi,

I haven't read through all the comments so if this might already have been discussed ad nauseam. My apologies if this is the case, and just keep going to the next comment, please.

I would like to remind you all that Jimmy Carter received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his contributions to the peace and welfare of mankind (womankind, childrenkind and non-binary-kind too, I assume). That puts him up there with The Red Cross, Médicines San Frontièrs (Doctors Without Borders), Dr. Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa and Nelson Mandela. Yes, Barack Obama too. The USA might not have appreciated what President Carter did (and does, I hope) but the rest of us really do.

So many peacekeepers come from his institute and they are always needed. Especially when Who Is the Biggest Badest President Of The World Prize is being duked out between the sitting US Incumbent and the Truly Ensconced guy in Russia. The Tilted Chinese Champion might still want in on the competition, even though they at the moment seem to enjoy being the peaceful experts of SARS-COVI-2 and COVID-19. There is also the Lethal Son of North Korea and a few others (Hi there Turkey, didn't see you there behind the others) to consider before selecting the winner.

So, President Carter; may you live for a thousand years, and keep sending out peacekeepers into the world. We need all that we can get. And then some

    Yours, Ann

President Carter is and always has been a wonderful man and President of which we can be proud. He has done so much since his time in office- amazing! Inspiring! You don't always appreciate what you have…

Back in the day when respect was the order of the day. President Carter has led an immaculate life and served his country and his neighbors in good measure. It is unfortunate that this country and the culture surrounding the White House has fallen to lowest common denominator possible.

I will always have enormous respect for President Carter. He did his job with integrity and intelligence. He still gives back to this country. One of our nations good guys. Unlike what we have now.

The annoying thing is is that when trump finally dies that America will give him all due reverence as a past president… I know you are supposed to rise about it all but the fact that he is responsible for the deaths of over 200,000 Americans and rising and he still doesn't care with his latest antics leaving hospital and comments.. it just sticks in my throat that he will be revered at his death – just hope that no past presidents attend any eulogies or ceremonies and its just his family and some sycophantic republicans who attend.

Lets see. He passed China policy that destroyed our manufacturing. And even though you can find this for yourself, people deny, deflect and dispute. And with Carter doing this, betrayed our allies in Iran, Afghanistan, Angola and pretty much the entire middle east. So he got 2 birds with 1 stone. About the only efficient things democrats do is when they hurt America. Good thing Barack Hussein came along years later to give the middle east billions of tax payer dollars.
If you read the communist manifesto and the 45 goals of the communist party as read into the congressional record in 1963, you will see democrats have achieved most, if not all of those goals. Such a coincidence that they are now socialists. And why come the bias press doesnt ask the democrats to deny they are socialist? Why dont they ask democrats to condemn "racism" 17 times like they have the President? Weve heard him condemn all of that many many many times yet they keep asking. Oh such wonderful manipulation.
I used to be a democrat until I stopped listening to this bias press and looked things up for myself. But since most democrat supporters are fat, lazy & stupid, they would rather believe facebook "fact' checkers and MSDNC.
Boy oh boy what a wicked web.

I did not support or vote for Carter in '80. I supported John Anderson . But I always admired Jimmy Carter's honesty, integrity , & his personal life. I admired Rosalynn, & how they stood for Civil Rights in the deep south. ————————WolfSky9, 74 y/o

Trump corruption makes Republicans look foolish talking about fraud and ethics

Published

on

By

Donald Trump’s brazen corruption is so much a part of his political identity that it has become an election issue unto itself. And when Senator Tim Scott tries to gaslight the American public into believing Trump is a model of ethics, or when JD Vance tries to pretend prosecuting fraud is an important priority of his, Trump’s corruption only makes them look ridiculous. Rep. Ro Khanna joins to discuss.
