These women told CNN’s Pamela Brown that they were “traditional wives” before the nickname was popularized. Unlike the trendy social media influencer archetype, however, the lifestyle was chosen for them through the high-control Christian nationalist communities they belonged to. They are now going through the process of “deconstruction” from those communities and rediscovering what womanhood, family and religion look like on the other side.

MapQuest says it has no plans to change the name of Lake Ontario to “Lake America” after Apple Maps and Google Maps followed Trump’s executive order; the company says, “We’re not changing it.” Music legend Lionel Richie is back home after a three-day hospital stay in St. Louis; and King Charles welcomed the 1,000-year-old Bayeux Tapestry to London.

For all you people who might live or not live in the United States. Law enforcement can arrest a service member off base and under certain conditions on base too with due cause. Furthermore, he should not be in uniform making a political statement which he is doing

Activist Daniel Choi handcuffs himself to the fence in front of the White House and gets arrested for protesting being for gays in the military. So he is against gays in the military? He is protesting being for gays in the military, which means that he is protesting the act of being for gays in the military. A strange way of wording it, but a strange way to protest. Why not just write out your argument of why you don't like people being for gays in the military and publishing it somewhere, be it online, in comment sections, or on paper to hand out to people.

Idk abt the US but in my country a soldier can only be arrested by MPs or o5 + soldiers. If the a police officer trys to arrest a military person they should decline 3 times and if the cop does not cooperate the soldier can resist arrest or simply walk away after pointing a weapon at them.
