For all you people who might live or not live in the United States. Law enforcement can arrest a service member off base and under certain conditions on base too with due cause. Furthermore, he should not be in uniform making a political statement which he is doing

Activist Daniel Choi handcuffs himself to the fence in front of the White House and gets arrested for protesting being for gays in the military. So he is against gays in the military? He is protesting being for gays in the military, which means that he is protesting the act of being for gays in the military. A strange way of wording it, but a strange way to protest. Why not just write out your argument of why you don't like people being for gays in the military and publishing it somewhere, be it online, in comment sections, or on paper to hand out to people.

Idk abt the US but in my country a soldier can only be arrested by MPs or o5 + soldiers. If the a police officer trys to arrest a military person they should decline 3 times and if the cop does not cooperate the soldier can resist arrest or simply walk away after pointing a weapon at them.
