The idea of loan forgiveness being unfair to people that didn’t take out loans when they went to college is especially ridiculous. The whole purpose of Financial Aid, including Federally-guaranteed student loans, is to level the playing field so that kids that got good grades in school but whose parents can’t afford to send them to college can still go. And our society benefits as a whole when that potential isn’t wasted and from having people with a college education become Registered Nurses, teachers, counselors, mental health social workers, etc. We’d have a whole lot fewer people in those positions, not to mention doctors, scientists, etc., if people whose parents couldn’t afford to send them to college didn’t have financial aid available to help them go. Now some people want us think that because the loan forgiveness program is “unfair”to people that didn’t qualify for financial aid because their parents made too much money, that that is a reason to not allow student loan forgiveness. Yes, there are other reasons being cited, too, but this reason is seriously being cited by some people, including Justice Gorsuch.

The “unfairness” and the tax argument those states make is a POLICY argument, not a LEGAL one.

The court should see that and reject that portion of their argument. But this court has shown disregard for that many times.

No children should have go through a day of school without a meal. The child's performance will decline and then what will happen when the standardized tests come in? I grew up in such a poor town that once I got to high school they just gave free lunch to everyone. I have younger sisters so we'd get the info from all the levels of school; elementary, middle/Jr High and High school. There were cities all next to each other that did that mine ( Holyoke, Springfield and Chicopee). A free lunch and free breakfast that's how bad poverty was for us. I can only hope it gets better at least in some district that's really poor and whatever plan was implemented should be passaround nationwide. Everyone's eyes on the same plan that CAN NOT FIRE OR CUT THE HOURS of cafeteria workers or Janitors. Sorry but your TEACHERS don't double as CAFETERIA PERSONELL

The theory of this pandemic coming from so called authorities is false enough to be considered treason against the people of the USA. The coronavirus pandemic clearly established by the CDC lost vials of Polio/ coronavirus samples they were questioned about during the Obama administration on CNN in 2010.
