WNBPA Executive Director ‘Overjoyed’ By Griner’s Return
WNBA star Brittney Griner is back on U.S. soil after a harrowing 300-day nightmare in Russian custody. Terri Jackson, Executive Director of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association, joins Andrea Mitchell with her reaction. “We are overjoyed. Overjoyed. And our prayers have been answered,” says Jackson. Asked whether Griner will return to her basketball career, Jackson says, “I don’t even know that I care. I wanted her back. I want her to be whole. I want her to be taken care of inside and out, top to bottom. I want her physical fitness and mental wellness and fitness to be where it needs to be. And if basketball brings her joy still, we are welcoming her back to the fold.”

If you were sitting in a foreign prison, the media & the Biden administration wouldn't even be talking about you. If you were convicted of domestic violence, convicted of drug charges, were anti national anthem, etc. do you really think people would be fighting to get you freed? Biden said "The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick," but then he released the Merchant of Death. A thirty year career politician & a two time vp & this is the best deal he can make? UAE? Dont they have prison cells & the death penalty for homosexuals? Maybe the Biden administration can work “tirelessly” for the rail workers. After all he is a man for the unions. What an insult to the men & women that really did work tirelessly to bring the Merchant of Death to justice. Most people have trouble finding a job after being released from prison but I’m sure Russia will find plenty of work for him in ukraine. This is just another failed political stunt like Biden’s student debt forgiveness. Hopefully Brett Favre can stay out of a jail cell.
