   It's a shame for anyone to be lost at sea, however, these were rich tourist who knew full well they were taking extreme risks for LOLZ and then literally millions of taxpayers dollars from two different countries have been spent trying to rescue them. On the other hand, in the same time that mainstream media has been obsessed with this, hundreds of lives have been lost at sea without any governments intervening, in the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas because refugees are desperate for help. I'd rather that media concentrate on that more desperate tragedy.

    It is time for car dealership scam to stop…cars are roughly 12% more expensive just from Dealership model and over production of underselling models. Used car dealers are an actual legitimate industry where the dealership is actually providing something, finding and refurbishing used vehicles for purchase. New car dealerships are just a stupid investment Ponzi scheme. They get a cut of the financing, the sale, and the services upsell…all things the Manufacturer would provide at no additional cost to the consumer, and the MFG can also Provide in-house, direct financing; meaning they can set their own interest rate based on their specific portion of the market. Car Loan interest rates of 1% and 2% are more appropriate given the limited lifespan of a car and the continuous upkeep needed, and the MFGs could work with that and they used to sell cars for 0% even when interest rates were near 7% previously, until direct MFG financing rules were changed in favor of dealerships in 2006. Most Car Manufacturers could survive on about 1/2 the sales they do today because of the bloat of the dealership program. If they were just running showrooms for what they are, and move to a Just in Time manufacturing model, cost could go down 10% while also giving the dealerships about 5-6% more Margin. Competition among car MFGs would soar, the technology of the engines would be growing at the same rate as the other ancillary tech in the car, and smaller companies could compete fairly within their chosen section of the market.
