This time, the designer sent his ladies down in smocks with face pale and hair curled atop their head as if they were quite possibly electrocuted within a fashionable body bag. Owens called them electrocuted martyrs. Models walked through striped beams of lights before getting on the runway. Owens called this a gateway to heaven. In all actuality, models looked like they were a whole other lifeform. FTV is wondering how much of a religious theme runs rampant here, though Owens would probably avoid the question in favor of looks he deems are more provocative than anything else. Still, his idea of a provocative statement is not the norm–miniskirts are forfeited in favor of long mermaid gowns, dresses that looked like sack, some fabric pulled at the breastbone, and patchwork. Sort of like a return to the medieval era where women were covering up and secretly showing off their sexiness in their own secret way. And yeah, Karlie Kloss can make even a smock look sexy.
