http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK – If Jeremy Scott’s show was paradise, then we’d like to buy a one-way ticket. Style.com called it “Hawaiiana” but it’s true, lots of designers have been using jungle motfis and tropical prints in hot and heavy colors to make a statement. Jeremy Scott was one of them. He’s known for making bold statements and we were hungry with anticipation. He also focused on life on the farm in a Beverly Hillbillies sort of way with mesh, handkerchiefs, gingham, overalls, and plaid oomphed up in a Hollywood country glitz and glamour sort of way. There were cows and there were cacti. Scott grew up on a farm, so it seemed appropriate but he is also one of few designers to try this “farm style trend” and succeed at it without the line looking like white trash. Can you mix tropicana with farm looks? Jeremy Scott says yes!
