An upside-down flag, adopted by Trump supporters contesting the Biden victory, flew over Supreme Court Justice Samuel #Alito’s front lawn as the Supreme Court was considering an election case, according to a recent New York Times report. #MorningJoe’s #JoeScarborough reacts to this new report, calling it “disgusting” and criticizing the justice’s respect for the law and the institution:

“For a guy who is a Supreme Court justice that let that happen at his own home, in one of the most fraught times in American history since the Civil War, it’s just sad. It shows how little respect he has for the institution.”

In Texas, a new Marist poll finds Democratic State Rep. James Talarico leading Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton by 6 percentage points in their race for the U.S. Senate, 50% to 44%. Talarico joins Morning Joe for a wide-ranging interview. He discusses the recent ICE shooting of a Venezuelan immigrant in Texas, the affordability issue and the boom of A.I. data centers in Texas. Talarico also takes a jab at his opponent, pointing out that Paxton has not accepted any of his debate invitations ahead of the midterms, saying: “I get it. If I had Ken Paxton’s career of corruption, I wouldn’t want to answer these questions, either.”
