#21: Cinematic Intimacy & 1940s Silhouettes, Milan Fashion Week F/W 26-27

Published

on

Experience the art of everyday femininity of the fall/winter 2026-2027 collection of Alessandro Dell’Acqua showcased at Milan Fashion Week!

The brand #21 delivered the line rooted in “creative truth” and a beautifully raw, everyday femininity. Inspired by artist Sophie Calle’s famous 1981 photographic series “The Hotel”, where she documented the intimate belongings of hotel guests, and the surreal, innocent vanities of Federico Fellini’s film 8 ½, the runway became a beautifully polished exploration of elegant, cinematic voyeurism.

Stepping away from heavy structures, Dell’Acqua built the collection on a canvas of absolute black, using it as a neutral space to reset the narrative.

The wardrobe effortlessly balanced masculine tailoring with 1940s-inspired feminine silhouettes: think intentionally minimal white men’s shirts paired with cool wool trousers, contrasting against severe little white collars, fluid lace slip-dresses, and striking double black-on-pink brassieres.

It was an exquisite investigation into the simple truths of a woman’s everyday wardrobe, unveiled in its purest form, right down to the season’s standout accessory, the medium-size Cabiria bag.

Don’t miss the high-shine swimwear finale that captivated South Beach – watch the complete Oseree presentation on FTV!

Unveiling their breathtaking collection titled “La Passerella,” the brand brought a flawless blend of European sophistication and high-octane nostalgia to the South Beach stage.

The presentation served as an dazzling homage to classic Italian summers, effortlessly fused with the rebellious, liberating spirit of the 1970s and the legendary nightlife of Studio 54. The collection brilliantly showcased the brand’s signature design language, pairing meticulous Italian tailoring with an unapologetic love for shine.

The catwalk came alive with a rich procession of metallic hues, liquid-like lúrex fabrics, and sheer, shimmering overlays that caught the heavy strobe lights with every step.

Embracing retro-glamour, Oseree sent models down the runway in high-waisted silhouettes, plunging necklines, and dramatic, fluid resort separates engineered to glide straight from a sun-drenched day on the Amalfi Coast into a late-night lounge.

By masterfully balancing sophisticated craftsmanship with a fierce, feminine edge, Oseree’s first-ever Paraiso showcase left an unforgettable, glowing mark on the global fashion calendar.

Cultural Exchange by Imane Ayissi, Paris Couture Spring/Summer 2021 | FashionTV | FTV

FashionTV Presents
Cultural Exchange by Imane Ayissi, Paris Couture Spring/Summer 2021

The newest collection of Imane Ayissi is named “Tseundé” that means exchange in the Ewondo language of Cameroon. Exchanges between different cultures and civilizations, different parts of the world, exchange that is so difficult in our times. Besides the evening gowns, the designer also wanted to create a daytime, everyday couture, where easy and wearable clothes are sublimated by tailor-made, precious materials, perfect manufacturing, and artisanal techniques that make them unique.

Fashion films are a cinematographer’s dream – moody, stylized and often experimental. Unlike commercials, which are forthright in their messaging and typically utilize an “appeal to the masses” approach, fashion films aim for a softer sell and typically target a niche audience. Experience the largest collection of fashion films with FashionTV! Choose from hundreds of fashion films from your favorite designers and houses featuring the most iconic models and directed by the world’s leading fashion film directors in Fashion Films on FashionTV

We call Paris one of the four fashion capitals, together with Milan, New York and London, but truly Paris is nothing less but the only fashion capital of the world. We aren’t stating that just out of pure love for the City of Lights but merely as a fact. This magnificent city is the cradle of fashion.

Paraiso Miami Swim Week 2026: Passion for Paradise by Luli Fama

Published

Immerse yourself in the kinetic energy and vibrant prints of Luli Fama’s complete S/S 26 runway showcase by streaming it now on FTV!

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the main Paraiso tent at Collins Park came alive as Miami’s hometown favorite Luli Fama presented its highly anticipated spring/summer 2026 collection.

Renowned for infusing bold Latin spirit and infectious energy into swimwear, the brand once again delivered a powerful display of vibrant, high-octane resort glamour. The show perfectly embodied the sun-drenched Miami lifestyle – effortlessly capturing the seamless shift from a luxurious day on a private yacht to a sultry midnight lounge under the stars.

The collection itself was an absolute visual explosion, defined by Luli Fama’s signature hand-designed prints and an unapologetically vivid color palette. The runway came alive with fiery sunset oranges, electric fuchsias, deep Caribbean blues, and metallic golds that shimmered brilliantly under the strobe lights.

Precision was key in the design language, which featured the label’s famous ruched-back bottoms, daring cut-out monokinis, and sophisticated, fluid resort wear coordinates, including dramatic floor-sweeping kaftans, breezy printed linen sets, and macrame-detailed cover-ups.

Walked by an incredibly dynamic cast of models who danced down the catwalk to a thumping tropical beat, Luli Fama didn’t just show a collection; they threw the ultimate Miami party, cementing their status as undisputed royalty of the Paraiso stage.
