http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – TV presenter/actress Hofit Golan heads backstage with FashionTV to capture all the action at Falguni & Shane Peacock during New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013. The makeup is urban and eccentric, but fitting for the label which is known for graphic, out-of-the-box designs that are often snapped up by music stars who want to create a statement on stage. Assistant Makeup Artist Jan says the look they’re going for is post-modern punk rock. Makeup Artist Edward Cruz came up with the look. The team created a look that consisted of strong, muted eyebrows, smudged brown and black liner, strong mascara, foundation, pink cheeks, and a sharp line painted above the brows.

Hairstylist Matthew is the UK lead hairstylist for Tresemme and the head of the team that is doing the hair at Falguni & Shane Peacock. He’s creating a gothic fetish look which means a hard ponytail at the top of the head with hair extensions and a metallic flash of wire.

Golan has an exclusive interview with singer Ashanti who’s dressed in provocative Falguni & Shane Peacock. “I think it’s just fashionable, classy, and edgy, all at the same time,” she says. She reveals her new single with Busta Rhymes. She also interviews model Petra Nemcova, also wearing a dress by the design duo. “When you wear it, everybody knows who you’re wearing.” Nemcova tells FashionTV.

The Falguni & Shane Peacock show is sexy and graphic with sheer strips highlighted by prints and embroidered leather. After the show, Golan interviews designer Shane Peacock, who says the inspiration is different from what they normally do with a lot of black and undertones of goth.
