Renaissance of Grit and Grace by KNLWS for S/S 26, Milan Fashion Week | FashionTV | FTV

Published

on

Ignite your fearless edge with KNWLS’ spring/summer 2026 collection, where British rebellion crashes into Italian allure at Milan Fashion Week! KNWLS’ S/S 26 show marked a seismic Milan debut on September 24, 2025, at a pulsating venue in the heart of the city’s fashion district, injecting London’s raw sensuality into Milan Fashion Week’s calendar. Designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault, the power duo behind the brand since 2017, have traded London’s fog for Milan’s sun-kissed streets, where they’ve been working on other projects, to unveil a 40-look manifesto of poised provocation. Complete with a bombshell Nike collaboration that fuses athletic tech with corseted drama, the collection is poised to make a splash. The collection’s inspiration pulses from a Renaissance revival laced with ’90s grit, where slim, draped silhouettes and nods to medieval armor collide with the unapologetic swagger of vintage football boots and ballet’s sharp poise, all distilled through Knowles and Arsenault’s lens of “severe sensuality.” “We’re reimagining heritage with a fearless twist – poise meets punk, where every seam screams self-possession,” the duo shared, channeling the dusty-pink opulence of Milan’s Poldi Pezzoli Museum paintings into fluttery dresses with pouf shoulders, reflective plaid bustier jackets, and cargo minis from Nike’s weatherproof weaves, and Flyknit corsets echoing the Fenom bra’s athletic hug.

Espaco Fashion ft Aline Weber + Debora Muller at FFW Fashion Rio Summer 2012, Brazil | FashionTV

http://youtube.com/FashionTV RIO DE JANEIRO – Espaco might mean space in Portuguese, but this fashion show is not about space–its about nature. Like many of the other fashion shows at FFW Fashion Rio Summer 2012, Espaco Fashion brought the use of natural elements to the forefront of the show. Safari was a kety theme and many of the models became wildlife fashionistas with shorts and outfits in the style of a hunter. Animal prints, pants with a foliage design, and khaki were also part of the layout. The collection had a snakeskin print in the miniskirts and a fierce fire kick to it as many of the prints stood out against the browns that came later. Mismatched prints were popular, too. Silk was combined with heavier fabric like leather to bring out the lightness of summer. Models like Nadine Ponce, who modeled for Sao Paolo Fashion Week in January 2011 and Malou Bortolini, Debora Muller, and supermodel Aline Weber wore accessories that included necklaces and bracelets adorned with insects.

Dior F/W 26-27 Highlights: The Living Theater of the Tuileries, Paris Fashion Week

Published

on

Experience the front-row magic of Dior’s Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 runway show unveiled at Paris Fashion Week!

Originally commissioned by Queen Catherine de’ Medici and later reimagined for Louis XIV, the Jardins des Tuileries has always served as the ultimate stage for seeing and being seen.

On the runway, Anderson brilliantly riffed on 18th-century codes, seamlessly building upon the successes of his debut collections.

The house toyed with the concept of formal dressing through deconstructed frock coats, peplum jackets, and bustle skirts rendered in candied almond shades, intricate Chantilly lace, and metallic jacquards.

Shrunken blazers and lampshade skirts arrived in baby-soft shearling, while cozy knits took on highly sculptural shapes. For a youthful nod to heritage, dotted Swiss ruffle skirts with long trains offered a fresh reimagining of Christian Dior’s legendary Junon gown, while the spiral cage dresses from his recent couture collection reappeared as ethereal clouds of soft, pleated fabric. Crucially, Anderson introduced incredibly chic, straightforward entry points into the Dior universe.

Ivory hammered-silk track pants adorned with covered bridal buttons, jeans with delicate ribbon embroidery, and plain robe coats worn as dresses brought a grounded, real-world sensibility to the high-fashion runway.

Masculine tailoring was subverted through a trompe-l’oeil houndstooth print on hand-pleated jackets and coats, underscoring the brand’s focus on evolutionary growth. “We’re going to get some things right, some things wrong,” Anderson reflected backstage, “but then each thing that is working, we just keep building on top of.” It is a philosophy that honors the past while marching confidently into daylight.
