CANNES 2026: Gillian Anderson, Isabeli Fontana, Eva Longoria | The Birthday Party, Red Carpet Day 11

Published

on

Looking for a complete fashion breakdown from the festival’s most star-studded night?

High-octane sophistication anchored the night’s most talked-about looks. Stepping onto the carpet with effortless poise, Tao Okamoto delivered an unforgettable style moment for Chanel, leaning into the French fashion house’s timeless heritage. Gillian Anderson and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan both brought serious sculptural drama to the Croisette, turning heads in distinct, jaw-dropping creations by avant-garde visionary Mary Katrantzou.

Meanwhile, Georgia Fowler exuded sultry, modern minimalism in a beautifully draped Tom Ford gown, perfectly elevated by a suite of brilliant, light-catching Tiffany & Co. jewelry. The red carpet radiated with intricate texturing and masterful styling partnerships.

Eva Longoria commanded the flashbulbs in an architecturally stunning gown by Tamara Ralph, flawlessly accessorized with opulent Damiani jewelry and finished with Rene Caovilla’s signature heels. Eva Ruiz similarly leaned into high-fashion romance, wearing a striking Ze Garcia design punctuated by brilliant diamonds from Damiani jewelry.

Adding an ethereal, airy quality to the evening’s arrivals, Isabeli Fontana floated up the steps in a sweeping, meticulously detailed Georges Chakra creation.

Rounding out the star-studded guest list, Maryam Zolghadr brought exceptional global elegance to the carpet in a sophisticated silhouette by Maher Ghalayini, dazzling the crowd with exquisite pieces from Hassanzadeh jewellery.

Gen-Z style icon Ariana Greenblatt and global digital trailblazer Laura Tobon both brought refreshing energy and youthful edge to the steps, cementing their status as major festival tastemakers. From the triumphant, unified arrival of the film’s cast to the final wave of diamonds under the flashbulbs, it was an unforgettable night for festival fashion purists.

Collina Strada: Scandi Maximalism Meets New York Energy, S/S 27 | Copenhagen Fashion Week

Published

Step into the world of conscious creation – explore the Collina Strada spring/summer 2027 collection on FashionTV!

Making its highly anticipated European runway debut as Copenhagen Fashion Week’s inaugural International Guest brand, New York–based label Collina Strada brought a burst of conscious, rebellious joy to the Scandinavian schedule.

Founded by Hillary Taymour in 2008, the brand operates dynamically at the intersection of fashion, activism, and self-expression. Known for its vibrant, expressive designs and deep commitment to sustainability, Collina Strada has firmly established itself as a leading voice in a new generation of conscious, independent fashion.

For the Spring/Summer 2027 showcase, Taymour doubled down on local production, inclusive storytelling, and textile experimentation. The collection came to life through one-off upcycled materials and deadstock studio scraps, transforming discarded fabrics into a dreamlike, whimsical wardrobe of romantic chiffon dresses, pleated denim, and intricate patchwork.

By clashing soft pastels with unconventional layering, Collina Strada proved that climate-conscious design and high-energy fantasy go hand in hand.

RVDK: From Luxury Surplus to Kinetic Art for F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Week

Published

on

Explore “Vive l’Art” and see how Ronald van der Kemp crafts beauty from luxury excess on FashionTV!

Presented during Paris Haute Couture Week on July 7, 2026, RVDK Ronald van der Kemp debuted Wardrobe 24: “Vive l’Art” – a poetic manifesto that transforms yesterday’s luxury excess into tomorrow’s couture.

Refusing to let sustainability limit creativity, Van der Kemp turns reclaimed materials into a canvas of pure artistic freedom, embracing every happy accident, raw edge, and unrepeatable texture along the way. Luxury surplus, rescued skins, overstock beads, and forgotten treasures form the foundation of a fluid, multi-textured collection where clashing prints, vivid hues, and sharp tailoring align naturally.

The house also introduced RVDK Art Jewellery, featuring wearable kinetic sculptures, hair jewellery, brooches, and moving pins crafted from 3D-printed recycled filament, hand-painted, lacquered, and embellished with found objects. Moving seamlessly between structured tuxedo blazers, raw-edge denim, and delicate sheer dresses, the collection breaks conventional rules to celebrate a deeply personal, instinctual approach to fashion.

The runway design reflected this raw creative instinct, turning the venue into an active art studio where industrial elements met delicate floral arrangements. Models walked with an unscripted, confident stride that mirrored the spontaneous nature of the clothes themselves.

Broad-shouldered coats fashioned from upcycled jacquard were paired with micro-minis crafted from patchwork leather offcuts. Intricate hand-embroidery brought new dimension to salvaged silk tulles, creating a striking contrast between weathered surfaces and refined handiwork.

Van der Kemp’s commitment to Circular Couture was evident in every detail, proving that true luxury lies in human ingenuity rather than pristine, mass-produced materials.
