President Donald Trump and his allies are renewing a push to reshape the Federal Reserve after the Supreme Court blocked an effort to fire Governor Lisa Cook.

Stocks gained as the latest bout of jitters about the sustainability of the AI-trade eased, with Europe’s benchmark holding near a record high.

Bloomberg has learned that some leading European powers now accept that ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz will have to pay fees to Iran and Oman.
The US and Gulf Arab countries continue to insist that Iran and Oman cannot impose charges of any kind for the Hormuz strait.
