Trump: I’ve left instructions to hit Iran if they assassinate me

Published

on

President Trump was asked by the New York Post about reporting that Iran had recently devised a new plot to assassinate him, according to Israeli intelligence. He told them, “I’ve left instructions. If anything happens to just literally bomb them all at all, at levels that they’ve never seen before.”

The Israeli intelligence shared with the Trump administration of Iranian threats to assassinate President Donald Trump reflected a desire among elements of Tehran’s hardline leadership to target the American leader, according to an Israeli source and a US official, rather than a specific, detailed plan to carry out such an operation.
