I do not often agree with Chip Roy, but tnis time he is correct. Maybe finally giving George Santos the boot might qualify. Republicans have just been too busy with running their circus and fighting among themselves to achieve anything of consequence in 11 months. This is why so many GOP members are leaving in 2024. They know that their chances of being re-elected are almost zero and that the Republican Party in Congress is in for a monster beating in 2024… because voters are fed up with their childish and irresponsible behavior, and the constant confusion, chaos, and crazy that we witness daily.

It’s the plan of the hard-right to stop our Democracy from working.
Hopefully the Senate will not put up with their ulterior motivation to prove Democracy doesn’t work.
The GOP path to their autocratic government is their point .
Every GOP congress member that is stepping down is probably looking at a spot on Trump cabinet.

When they return, the House Republicans can get some real work done: starting to investigate Joe Biden for something they can't ever find, or instantly lose.
Or Comer's warehouse full of evidence burns down over the holidays.
Not details like the economy, or Russian encroachment.

I reached 66 last October, one of the EXTREMELY rare times in my life that I have totally agreed with Mitch McConnell.
He actually said that there were going to be MAJOR problems in the House of Representatives for the next two years. It's not because Republicans took it back, it IS because of who they elected to do it, it's pretty obvious that he was right.

The GOP don't care about Gov't shutdowns until they can't catch their flights but they'll vote to defund Amtrak every time.

A shutdown is what the Far right has been demanding, it wants to sabotage the Biden Administration. It's all political. The Media has been so preoccupied with Trump's mishaps that it has forgotten Democracy. It's internal war, can't you tell! May Democracy, and common sense prevail

  23. @KateLopez-wr1cy

    December 11, 2023 at 10:34 am

Don't doubt it! We have an insurrectionist, Mike Johnson who wanted to steal the election from the President. A shutdown might just give all of them that ….
