President Trump launched the U.S. into a new trade war with Canada, imposing 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Trump wants Canada to “negotiate in good faith.” In response, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada was at war with the U.S. and lamented that “America has changed” and promised “dollar for dollar” retaliation. Your interview with Jonathan Conricus, an IDF representative who has spoken honestly and intelligently whenever I have heard him in the recent weeks was simply rude and reflected your frustration in answering your question.
