Republican Steve Hilton will advance to the general election in California’s gubernatorial race, according to The Associated Press.
The former Fox News personality will now face Democrat Xavier Becerra, President Joe Biden’s health and human services secretary, in November for the seat of outgoing Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.

BREAKING: The U.S. military launched additional strikes against multiple targets in Iran on Wednesday evening, according to U.S. Central Command, which said the operations were conducted at Trump’s direction.
The latest action marks a serious escalation in the U.S.-Israel conflict with Iran following the downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter on Monday and tit-for-tat strikes in the Middle East.

BREAKING: Xavier Becerra will advance to the general election in California’s gubernatorial race. The Democrat emerged as a front-runner three days after Tuesday’s primary in a crowded field of around 60 candidates remained too close to call.
Becerra previously served as the Health and Human Services secretary under President Joe Biden, was California attorney general from 2017 to 2021 and was a member of Congress for more than 20 years.

As an independent, why not just squash every rumor, every theory with an official statement of what happened? If your partner asked you what happened, you would tell them. If not, your partner would say what are you hiding? I don't get it.

Sure, they're looking at 40 criteria for admission, but it's race that finally determines whether some applicants are accepted or not. Otherwise, it wouldn't be called "affirmative action". It is intentional, systemic, racist discrimination against qualified white people — always has been. But then, we're getting this from a judge who rather proudly claimed — under oath — that she can't define "woman".
I've always been for racial equity, but it shouldn't just be forced on people by deliberate discrimination against the majority race. It takes time by better funding and standard-setting of schools in mostly minority districts. Baltimore City College (High School) was an excellent example of an urban public school with a high black population that has done remarkable things and produced many fine black graduates, eminently qualified for college and their subsequent careers. Kurt Schmoke and Elijah Cummings are among them.

The Dishonorable Judge Thomas has "no idea" what diversity is, just as he had no idea what sexual harassment was when he engaged in it, nor how crude his "jokes" were. As Jane Mayer and Jill Abramson showed in their book on him, *Strange Fruit*, the man is "an id suffering in the role of a Republican superego" (Review: Richard Lacayo, Time, Nov. 14, 1994 ).

Funny how the right wing is trying to end affirmative action in college applications when the bottom line is that the members of the GOP rank and file are losing college graduates at an alarming rate. So basically they are halting black and brown students from going to college but they are refusing to go as well. Seems as though because the GOP is starting to shun higher education that there will be more room for diversity enrollment anyway.

It's hilarious that judge Clarence thomas has the gall to decide that he doesn't understand diversity or how it applies in real time to life since he, himself, used it to become a judge and get into a school he wouldn't otherwise have stood a better chance than others might that weren't his color. How disgusting that he doesn't remember where he comes from while demonstrating how tainted he is while serving on the bench.
