‘What in the world?’: Mika on Trump’s new 9/11 claims

Published

on

By

At an event Tuesday honoring 9/11 first responders, President Donald Trump claimed two firefighters carried him to safety when a nearby appeared unstable. For years, Trump has made similar claims that he was at Ground Zero on 9/11, but there is no evidence to support his account that firefighters carried him from the site. “What in the world?” Mika asks on Morning Joe. The Bulwark’s Sam Stein calls the comments “blasphemous” and “demeaning to the people who were there.”

Published

By

“To the extent [Trump] cares about AI,” says Chris Hayes, “it’s not because it might put millions of Americans out of work. Or it might threaten the survival of humanity. Or it might commit war crimes using AI targeting with no human evaluator. He just wants to beat China and he wants his rich friends to get richer.”
